When I wrote the post I had the idea of “hey, I’m an Android developer, these were my issues, so you might be able to avoid them, know them beforehand and decide if Flutter is the best for your project.”. But… things grew extraordinarily. 38168 view so far and it’s been less than 24 hours.

A lot of people loved, a lot of people hated (specially in FlutterDev for some reason); while discussing (there were 241 comments so far, crazy!), we even figured out a possible way for you to fix the noise in GitHub. Hope you try (and send me a bonus t-shirt 😉) .

Regarding the SVG, this is precisely why I think it is not a full replacement for Icons — yet? A lot of people have been saying SVG is perfect and I don’t need to use fonts or I can just bundle my own. I wish that was the case, and I hope we eventually reach there, but not yet unfortunately.
